Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Locums - North Carolina

Flexible PRN shifts in a coastal ED with full travel and housing provided; great option for experienced emergency APPs.

Highlights

• 12-hour shifts; AM and PM available
• No call and no ICU responsibilities

Practice Setting

• 15-bed ED within an 81-bed hospital
• Specialty backup: ortho, cardiology, surgery, telestroke
• Onsite lab, radiology, and support staff
• EPIC charting

Schedule

• PRN coverage; pick your dates
• November and December shifts available now
• Multiple start time options (10a-10p or 10p-10a)
• Grouped shifts possible to reduce travel frequency

Cases and Procedures

• Emergency care for all ages
• No ICU-level cases; transfer capability for higher acuity
• Must be able to respond to codes

Requirements

• NC-licensed NP (ANP or FNP only)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA (AHA certifications required)
