Our success is fortified by an organization with over 100 radiologists serving over 40 hospitals accompanied by over twenty outpatient imaging facilities. We have worked hard at making your life easy: Our readings from all facilities are streamlined to a single simplified worklist via our practice owned IT infrastructure. Interventional Radiologists rotate through 4 hospitals including a level II trauma center, run an outpatient clinic in Fort Wayne and Marion, and have a robust inpatient service in Fort Wayne. Summit IR’s small size and innovative practice structure appeals to the Interventional Radiologist motivated by opportunities to perform the full spectrum of high-end IR procedures, build a robust clinical practice, and help a high performing group and community!
IR SERVICE LINE HIGHLIGHTS:
- 6 Interventional Radiologists, roughly 1/6 call schedule
- 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APP)
APPs perform most interventional “light” procedures such as paracentesis/thoracentesis, CT and US biopsy, drains.
- Dedicated APPs - operated Interventional Radiology clinic for initial consultation and longitudinal follow-up
- IR Physicians do not take diagnostic calls, or have worklist requirements while on IR shifts

FULL SPECTRUM INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY:
Inpatient Service and Outpatient Clinic
- Chronic Venous disease
- Trauma and GIB Embolization.
- PE and DVT Thrombectomy, lysis.
- IVC Filter Placement/removal.
- Vertebroplasty-Kyphoplasty-Sacroplasty.
- Trans jugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS).
- Dialysis including endovascular fistula creation.
- PAD including Acute and Chronic vascular disease
- AAA, mesenteric and lower extremity arterial interventions.
Interventional Oncology:
- Y-90
- Chemoembolization,
- Liver ablations, ports and biopsies.
- Kidney ablations, ports and biopsies.
- Elective Embolizations:
- UFE
- PAE
- GAE
- Varicocele
- Pelvic congestion
Compensation and Benefits:
- IR compensation range $750,000/year including IR call
