Interventional Radiology Physician - Locums in California

IR assignment in Southern California; 1-2 weeks per month with call flexibility and full travel covered.

Highlights

• Consistent blocks, 1-2 weeks/month

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and scheduled outpatient IR
• Level 1 trauma center near Riverside
• EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS
• Adult cases; minimal pediatrics

Schedule

• Typical hours: 7:30a-4:30p
• Weeklong call blocks may be required
• Some daytime-only weeks available if call is filled

Cases and Procedures

• Core IR: embolizations, nephrostomy tubes, drainages, dialysis catheters, biopsies
• Occasional PE thrombectomies
• 8-12 cases/day including 1-2 larger procedures

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in IR (or DR with VIR fellowship)
• Active California license and fluoro certificate required

Travel Accommodations

• Full travel included: airfare, hotel, rental car, mileage
• Easy access from multiple Southern California airports
